(if you use more water you will be able to make more jars however it will be a runnier consistency)

How to use-
-Wash Irish moss 3 times to remove dirt. wash until water runs clear
.-Soak in water overnight ( OPTIONAL use limes to remove smell/taste)
-Wash rehydrated moss to remove excess salt.
-Add to a high speed blender and just about cover with spring or distilled water.
-Blend until the Irish moss is a smooth, gel like consistency.
-Pour the Gel into a sealable glass jar and store in the fridge- consume within 2-3 weeks.
OR
-After soaking and rinsing, add rehydrated moss to a pot and just about cover with spring or distilled water-
-Boil down on a low heat until the Irish moss is a smooth like gel (boiling method creates a smoother gel however both processes are fine)
-Pour the Gel into a sealable glass jar and store in the fridge- consume within 2-3 weeks.
Add 1-3 tablespoons to your drinks or smoothies.
You can also also use your freshly made Irish moss gel as a face mask/hair mask!
Irish moss can also be used as a vegan alternative to gelatine when baking.
